The dining room lets you buy and store food, though eating out nearby is inexpensive. This is a handy budget stay for backpackers or families who just need somewhere to rest. Local shops and restaurants are close by in Kyusendil, and the house has Wi-Fi throughout. Rooms are clean and in good condition, with towels and balconies. Each room locks with a key, and the bathrooms are shared with one other room.

We ended up in the city during the cherry festival last year and couldn't find anywhere to stay. Someone from another Sagittarius hotel kindly walked us over here. It was close to the center, reasonably priced, and the rooms were clean, though the toilet and bathroom were in the hallway. A woman on the daytime staff spoke English, and everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful.

The hosts were incredibly kind, and the house felt calm, cozy, and pleasant. It's right in the ideal center, near the museums and just 5 meters from "Alai" bathhouse, where the water is truly mineral. A lovely spot for a proper vacation!
