Lalov Egrek Hotel

There’s a little beach just a few meters away, and the restaurant serves delicious food. The hotel is very clean, with comfortable, quiet rooms. It’s the best place for diving lessons with an instructor in the water.

There’s no water at all until noon, and the hotel is short on staff. The restaurant only operates in the morning, and the breakfast was worse than I expected. The air conditioning doesn’t work either. Rooms and bathrooms are dirty, and nobody cleans during your stay. Towel changes are the only service you get, and reception is staffed for just one or two hours a day. The price is completely unacceptable for this level of service. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

We couldn’t even spend the night. We packed our bags and left, sadly losing all the money we’d paid in advance. We booked through Booking.com using photos that turned out to be out of date, and the service was very poor. The hotel wasn’t maintained properly and was basically falling apart: one pool was out of order, many wall tiles had fallen off, and the rooms were dirty and smelled bad. The staff weren’t qualified for the job. At reception, they asked us to pay again and blamed a problem with their software. Don’t make our mistake. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The hotel has reopened this season, and the newly hired workers are very nice and kind. The food is second to none. There’s a private beach, and the atmosphere there is awesome.
