Rumika Ecocenter

A peaceful, quiet place to rest, with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and had big windows, and breakfast was good. The bathroom was spacious and clean too. The only slightly unusual thing was that the shower area wasn't separated off.

There isn't a view or much of anything within 10km, and being so far out in the middle of nowhere feels pretty surreal. Still, it's one of the few places around with a swimming pool. If there's nowhere else to go and you've run out of things to do, you might as well stop by.

We arrived to find the hotel closed and nobody there, even though we'd booked through the website and received an email confirmation. I called, but the woman on the phone didn't speak English, so a friend translated that they were closed and she couldn't find any booking. It felt unprofessional and irresponsible. This set off a whole chain of problems for us because we had an appointment and had to quickly find another hotel, accepting a lot of compromises.

The beds were soft and comfortable, and there was plenty of space throughout. It's a lovely, very quiet village spot where you mostly hear birds, with the occasional rooster. There's a nice swimming pool, billiards, table tennis, bicycles, and courts for football and basketball. The staff were pleasant, card payment was possible, and breakfast was OK. The bathroom could use another shelf for cosmetics.
