Apartments in Azalia 2 Complex

We stayed in Azalia 2, Apartment No. 4, and the condition of the place was shocking. The damp, moldy smell was so strong that we couldn't put our things in the closets. In the kitchen, the pans were greasy, the plates and glasses smelled bad, and there was food residue and staining. I washed the dishes we needed before making dinner. The bed was uncomfortable, so we had to use two blankets to sleep, and it smelled awful. There were no sheets on it; the sheets and towels in the closet smelled musty too and had stains that hadn't been cleaned. When we rented the apartment, a cleaning fee was listed as a separate charge, though apparently there isn't one now. We left the apartment dirty because it had been dirty when we arrived. I'm sorry about that, and I don't mean it as a negative attitude. People should do their jobs properly. Hygiene matters in a place where people stay, because of lice, insects, skin problems, breathing issues, and so on. We paid 58 Leva a night, and I was surprised that the only thing offered was for us to move to a cleaner room. The message said the alternative was a larger, better-equipped apartment that was available for €125 per night.
