Festa Panorama Hotel

We were very happy with the accommodation and would stay again. It’s easy to get to both old Nessebar and Sunny Beach, with bus stops right outside: the Sunny Beach bus is 2 lev one way, and Old Nessebar is just two stops away for the same fare. The room was comfortable and had modern conveniences, including a fridge and air conditioning. The safe costs extra. Inside, both the reception and rooms feel very modern. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a good choice of delicious food. Thanks for making the stay so happy and memorable.

The daily activities got us moving when we needed a bit of motivation on holiday, from morning gymnastics and darts to archery. We laughed watching the energetic animators by the outdoor pool, and they kept the fun going with sports and other activities. We even joined in at the nightclub, with a film quiz, dancing late into the night, and music from a great local duo. We hadn’t been to a club since our teens. The food was divine. The variety, quality, taste, and presentation were all 10/10, and we ate in the restaurant for almost every meal, often having three courses. The Indian-style lamb and other meat dishes were a delight. We also enjoyed drinks by the pool, where the bartender was always ready to help. I think he was glad we knew one Bulgarian word. An ice-cold beer in the morning felt lovely when I kept reminding my friend, “We’re on holiday.” Our first trip to Bulgaria was in late September, and the weather was lovely. We felt so welcomed at Festa Panoroma hotel. It was honestly like a gift from God, an answer to a very detailed prayer about what we needed from a long overdue holiday. We booked a sea-view room, and the balcony view of The Black Sea and the Balkan Mountains was breathtaking. We’re both nature lovers, and it felt out of this world. The room was so comfortable and felt like home, with clean white cotton sheets, beautiful furniture, and tasteful decor. There was plenty of space for our things, plus a balcony bar where we could hang damp towels and swimwear near the next balcony. Housekeeping was excellent every day, with fresh towels and the kindest housekeepers. We only knew one Bulgarian word, but they did everything they could to help with our daily needs. The lifeguard was friendly and helpful, too, and made us feel welcome in a new country. There were plenty of loungers, and we could always find one. We met lots of people at the restaurant, bar, and pool. The outdoor pool was one of my holiday highlights. The water got colder in October, but with a little neoprene on my hands and feet, I managed a good half hour in that beautiful water. We also used the indoor pool and sauna, and both had a massage on our last day. It was the best massage I’ve ever had. The relaxing music by the outdoor pool and during the massage was lovely. The food, people, and facilities made for a brilliant time. Bulgaria exceeded my expectations, even though the weather was quite wild on a few days. Thanks to everyone at the hotel. We hope to return early next year.

We had good food, though a little more variety would have been nice. There was always something I could find to eat. The hotel was lovely and clean, with great sea views, and the room was cleaned daily by friendly staff. The bar team were cheerful and always happy to help. The spa is downstairs, and the woman who gave massages was very good.

The reception team were brilliant, and the hotel itself is great, very clean, with spacious rooms and lovely views in a fantastic location. Still, two things went wrong: I found plastic in my food twice, and my partner’s earrings disappeared from our room. It’s a shame. I can only assume the problems were connected to the end of the opening season, when attention to quality may have been winding down.
