Aquamarine - All Inclusive

I brought my family and friends here for the summer holiday they deserved, and we felt so welcome. Rosi and the rest of the staff were outstanding, incredibly good at their jobs, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Every hotel should have a Rosi on site. The rooms were amazing and the location was great. The buffet was beautifully organised, with delicious dishes, lots of variety, and imaginative recipes celebrating local food and produce. It’s one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you! 🥰🥰🥰

The hotel is in a great spot, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, with good restaurants nearby. I’d suggest checking out La Flor, for example. There’s also a short, free bus ride to Action Water Park, and you can buy tickets right at the hotel. We enjoyed our week and would easily recommend it for families. The kids loved the ice cream buffet, and the animation programme was amazing, with a kids’ disco six nights a week and lots of daytime activities. The staff were very friendly, and the air conditioning in the rooms was reasonably good. At the restaurant we could always find something to eat, though the menu didn’t change much during the week. The glasses in our room weren’t replaced during the week, and our towels may have been changed only once, even though we left them on the floor.

After seven nights, we left with a really positive impression, especially of the staff and animation team. Around 85% of the staff were young, and they responded quickly whenever we asked for something. Reception was friendly and helpful with all sorts of questions. Well done to the team for making our stay a pleasure. We arrived around 10:30 p.m. and got a lovely welcome. They’d prepared lunch bags for all of us, with sandwiches, fruit, and water, which was a really nice touch. Our room was a good size, and having a bathtub in the bathroom was a bonus, even if it was a bit dated. Both the large and small pools were cleaned every day, and there was plenty of seating and umbrellas, so there was no morning rush to get a chair. All the best to the team.

The air conditioning worked, and the pool and its surrounding area were really nice and clean. Those were the only positives for us. The walk to the beach took around 12-15 minutes, and it’s more than 300 metres. We stayed for seven days, and this hotel absolutely doesn’t deserve four stars. The food was awful and tasteless. Leftovers from lunch turned up again at dinner, the fruit was sour and bland, and the desserts had no flavour. Drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were about the lowest quality you could find, and some of us had heartburn almost every day. Charging 10 leva a day for parking is hard to believe. I’ve travelled enough to think hotel guests shouldn’t have to pay for parking. The fridge in our room didn’t work, and the hotel should renovate the place and replace some of the furniture and the fridge. I’m never coming back, but I hope this helps anyone considering Aquamarine.
