I went in May 2024 on my own with my 8-year-old son, and he loved the slides. The daytime snack bar was great, with fresh pizzas, lovely chips and fresh doughnuts, and the buffet changed every day with something for everyone. Our room was great, and my son was in the pool constantly. We've booked to return in May 2026, this time with a friend and her son. Some of last year's reviews worry me, since they make it sound as if the hotel has gone downhill. I hope that's not true, and that the pool isn't dirty, as that would worry me for the children. I also hope the food is still delicious and fresh. I'm hoping our next visit is just as good, or better, and I'll leave another review after it.

The kids loved every minute, both our 10-year-old and 8-year-old. Donuts, ice cream, pretzels, burgers, chicken nuggets, pizza and chips were available through the day, and we never went hungry. Buffet food was OK, and the room was nice and clean. The entertainment was fine for younger children, but it started at 8:30 pm, which felt late. We loved the hotel.

Nassabar is beautiful, and thanks for the stay. The rooms were adequate, and the facilities and location were really good. Still, after a week we're happy to be heading home because of the food. Both the quality and choice were below average, we didn't look forward to meals, and it didn't agree with our stomachs. Food matters a lot to me, so I wouldn't come back. Self-catering might suit us better.

The entertainment staff were wonderful, with activities through the day for older children. The hotel shares its attractions and water park with several other hotels. I found it better suited to children aged 7 and up, since there are fewer options for younger ones and not much to do on rainy days beyond the water park. The pools and water park were very cold, so getting in was difficult and the children lost interest after one day. Some attractions, including inflatables, water cars and food stalls, cost extra despite the all-inclusive stay. Food choice was limited, with little chicken or meat, mostly pork and seafood, and very little that suited children. Rooms are dated but clean, and the friendly service is quite minimal.

We were a family of 11, from age 4 to 64, and had a fabulous time. The beach is lovely and the sea felt safe, while the pools were a good size and depth for children. There was plenty of food in the restaurant and snack bars around the complex, and we especially enjoyed the Italian restaurant. Our quiet room faced the front of the Mare hotel. Entertainment was OK for younger children; later we liked having a drink on the Mare veranda. Evening snacks included tapas and sushi. Bumper boats, go-karts, a bouncy castle, pottery painting, and candy floss and popcorn stands were available for a small extra charge. There's plenty on offer, and we couldn't fault our experience.
