Sveta Sofia Hotel

The hotel keeps traditional architectural features on the outside and has a romantic, cosy feel. We had a simple but well-balanced breakfast that tasted great, and we’d definitely come back. For the sea view, make sure to request a room with a balcony facing the water. Some rooms have windows at the back of the house instead.

There were lots of small flies in the bathroom, and the room had been poorly cleaned. We also found that we’d been living with Scolopendra, a centipede, in our room for days. Even after we showed the owners what was in there, they did nothing and just laughed. The receptionist was an old, rude lady who was barely at the desk. At night there was nobody in the hotel, and no one answered the phone number given for emergencies. We never got a receipt after paying either, which makes me think they aren’t paying their taxes. This place is a horror and should be closed for good.

There was an army of centipedes under my bed! The hotel isn’t cleaned at all. I packed my bags after the first night, and they wouldn’t refund me. Disgraceful.

There are poisonous centipedes here. I contacted the manager about it, but he refused to give me a refund.
