The owner is unbelievably kind and helpful, and we got such a warm goodbye when we returned for our luggage. She even found a way for us to communicate easily, switching to a translator when needed. We ended up calling her “the Bulgarian grandma.” Our car broke down and the insurance company wasn’t much help. When she heard, she offered to keep our bags at reception and called her son, who used his connections to arrange a tow truck and mechanic. The car was fixed that same day. The apartment itself is beautiful, with clean rooms, fair prices, and a lovely view over the bay. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

The woman looking after the place was always smiling and very helpful. Our clean, comfortable apartment had lovely design and a stunning sea view. We had a great time, and it’s close to both the sea and the old center.

Set in the old town, the apartment is close to lots of restaurants and has wonderful views of the tower and sunny beach. It’s spacious and has everything we needed, including a big TV, a well-equipped kitchen, an ironing board and a washing machine. The staff are friendly and make sure it’s cleaned daily. I recommend it.

The sea views are beautiful, and Vila Elena is in a convenient location. But the stay came with quite a few frustrations. We could hear noise from nearby rooms and the hallway often, so there wasn’t much privacy or comfort. There were no breakfast options, and not even coffee in the bedroom for the morning. That felt especially inconvenient and unexpected for the room price, since I’ve had coffee ready to drink even in airbnbs. Reception also seemed indifferent, and I didn’t feel welcome when we arrived. Parking was another issue. We were told it was free until 11:30 AM, but were charged 12 leva at 11:05 AM, which was surprising and frustrating. Ps: I wouldn’t recommend spending just one night in Nessebar. Sozopol has much better vibes.
