Good value for the price, with friendly service. It’s clean and pleasant, reasonably near the beach, and nothing especially fancy. I really like the town as a full-fledged seaside resort that doesn’t feel overcrowded. During peak season, though, tourists from nearby places were sometimes noisier than I’d have liked.

A miserable experience. We waited 20 minutes past the restaurant’s time, the food wasn’t replenished regularly, and what was there tasted stale and old. It was stuffy inside, the outside window was cracked, and there were no water glasses. The whole place felt old and stale.

For the price they charge compared with other places, it’s a bargain, as long as dated furnishings don’t bother you. The rooms are clean, with air conditioning, hot water, and internet. There are no extras to expect, like a pool bar or elevator. The TVs are old CRT sets, about the size of an oven, and the furnishings are from the 80s. They use a neighboring hotel’s restaurant if arranged in advance, so you can eat there or bring food back to your room, which has a fridge with freezer about 150 cm tall.
