KTB Manastira Holiday Village

It feels wonderfully quiet here, with a remote setting where nothing gets in the way of spending time with family or friends. The combination of nature and relaxation is hard to beat, and the mountain experience is one of the best in the Balkans. The pool is great for warm summer days, and it seems like a lovely place in any season. If a peaceful getaway is what you're after, this is a great option.

We had a good short break here, and the house was clean and stayed cool even with 40⁰c outside. The bedrooms were spacious, with plenty of bathrooms and toilets for a large group. Evenings were quiet while we were there, with no party groups, and each house is tucked away from the neighboring ones, so nobody looks in. There are plenty of local places to eat, including takeaway and delivery options listed in a booklet inside the house. The pool was spotless, though the chemicals made some of our swimsuits turn yellow. It may have been a reaction with sunscreen, so I wasn't too concerned. The kids drank plenty of the water and had no side effects. A few things could be better. The greenery around the houses wasn't very green, and leaves were scattered around. A little watering and an occasional cleanup would help. Smoke poured into the outdoor dining area from the external fireplace because its chimney was tiny. Also, construction on the other houses was going on during our stay, with outside windows and paneling being installed. The grinder noise and banging woke us at 8am on holiday and continued most days. They should stop that work while guests are staying.

We found it very clean and pleasant, and the pool was great. They keep the water warm, too.

A great choice for a weekend away with family or friends.
