The only small hassle was the uphill walk to the shops, and passing heavy trucks sometimes made the hotel shake, though it wasn't a big deal. Inside, my room was roomy and clean, with all the facilities in place. The toilet and shower were separate, and both the WiFi and air conditioning worked well. Since arriving in Bulgaria, this has been the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in.

The rate seemed fair, and the air conditioning worked well, though the extras were pretty sparse: just one towel, while other real hotels provide four per person. Trucks sometimes lined up outside the hostel for the Danube ferry. The rooms have no private bath, and everyone on each floor shares one toilet, but both the rooms and toilet were clean and well maintained. Just keep in mind this is a two-star hostel, not a three-star hotel. There was no English, though the staff acted professionally.

The rooms are good and the price is good, but this place feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. The village is uphill and a bit far, so getting around on foot is uncomfortable. I'd only choose it if I needed to catch the ferry to Romania. Otherwise, staying here doesn't make much sense.
