The young male waiter’s behavior was extremely inappropriate. I hope the Manager talks with him. Being annoyed is no excuse to take it out on customers, especially if he wants to keep his job. People are there to enjoy themselves, so there’s no need to pressure them to order faster and then act like a five-year-old when they don’t. I hope this is taken into account.

One of the younger waiters was rude from the start, making personal remarks and sighing for no reason. He didn’t even say thank you or goodbye. His older colleague also made a personal comment about me and the person I was with as he walked by, addressing us informally and calling us “little girls.” I’m sorry I ever went into this restaurant, and I feel for anyone else who gets treated badly just for being human.

There were 14 of us, from five-year-olds to people over 60, and we had a great time. We enjoyed drinks outside with fabulous views, and our waiter made the visit even better. Later we sat inside while the children played billiards downstairs. We didn’t eat or stay overnight, just had drinks, but it was a lovely experience.

The place is very well run, with friendly staff and clean, well-kept rooms. I stayed four nights with my kids and really appreciated the service and the excellent location. The restaurant was good, but ridiculously expensive by any standard, so you may end up eating elsewhere. If the restaurant wants hotel guests to dine there, I’d suggest offering them a discount. For comparison, Iva and Elena has more stars and is just around the corner, with lower prices. Even with that issue, I appreciated the good service.
