Studio Pamporovo Palace

The apartment was spacious, with two bathrooms and two balconies, and the ski lift was right nearby with everything else close too. It was stocked with loads of useful things: kitchen supplies including oil, red pepper, salt and pepper, a grill, toaster, electric kettle, and lots of pots and pans. No microwave, but the oven, grill and stove worked fine for heating food. They'd left chocolate cookies on the table, toys for the kids, chess and other board games, towels, extra pillows and blankets. The fireplace was ready to light, with wood underneath for later days. The owner was very polite and gave us a second key the same day we asked. We were satisfied with our stay and would fully recommend it.

The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk in ski boots to the lift. Black Betty ski shop is excellent too, and the owner Stefan speaks excellent English. The aparthotel is nice enough, though its rooms are very basic and badly need updating, with things like a flat screen TV and better sofas.

Staying here puts the ski centre 1 chair lift right outside your door. At most hotels in the area you'd need to take a bus to the lift in the morning, but these apartments are immediately next to it.

We had a great time and would recommend it. The apartment was clean and cozy, with everything we needed, and it's right by the lift. Having a ski rental shop there was very convenient too. Communication with the host was easy and smooth.
