Breakfast is very good and the rooms are OK, but the meals are expensive for nothing special. By early Saturday evening, half the menu was already gone. And with the windows open, you get leftover kitchen smells instead of fresh mountain air.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the staff are both friendly and highly professional. I also found the spa cozy and very hygienic. There’s a wide choice at the breakfast buffet, and the dinner menu has plenty of options as well. Excellent hotel. I’d happily recommend it and plan to return next year.

Getting there by car is difficult. There’s only one lane, and it’s heavily used. The hotel parking area is poorly maintained: our car was hit, and the other driver left. There’s no surveillance in what they call parking spaces. Before that, we got stuck in snow or ice three times. The road and parking conditions weren’t mentioned on a sign at the entrance, at reception, or in the email. There’s no shuttle to the slopes and no ski room. Wi-Fi doesn’t reach every room, and sound insulation is poor enough that you can hear everything in the hallway. The food was great, the restaurant staff were very nice and kind, and the decor there was lovely. It’s good value for money. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the electric heating worked great. One receptionist was kind and excellent, but the other one, with curly hair and glasses, was very rude and unprofessional. She shouldn’t be at reception, as she lacks the client-facing skills to de-escalate conflicts.

The rooms were nice and we enjoyed the breakfast, but the restaurant was a letdown. The food seemed overpriced for its quality, and the menu was mostly grilled meats like kufte, kebapche, and sausage, all served with fries and lutenitsa. Quite a few food and drink items weren't available when we tried to order. The restaurant's outside view was disappointing too, looking onto an abandoned construction site. We couldn't open the window during the day because unpleasant kitchen smells drifted in, and the TV channels kept freezing. There also weren't any nearby places to walk or hike within a reasonable distance, which limited our outdoor options.
