The apartment itself is nicely put together, comfortable, and even feels luxurious, with the utensils and appliances you need. But the steep stairs were a drawback, and the basics were missing: no soap or shampoo, no spare pillow for two people, and not a blanket per person. At 11:00 pm the water heater wasn't on, so there was no hot water, and nobody had warned us. That’s really not acceptable to me. The concept is good, but these details matter. Parking is a big problem, though luckily there’s a public lot nearby.

The landlady was wonderful, and the rooms were clean and had everything needed. It’s also close to the center. I recommend it.

The photos online don’t match what we found at all. We’d booked ahead, but when we arrived at 4:00 PM the hostess had forgotten about us. The rooms were untidy, and we had to wait a couple of hours. We’d been promised a large bedroom, but got two beds pushed together with a 3cm gap. The courtyard was neglected too.

Kaka Veska is great. The place is quiet and cozy, and it’s near the center.

The rooms were warm and there was hot water. A quiet place, recommended.
