After 12 reconstructive surgeries on my leg, learning to ski was about trust and confidence as much as trying a new sport. Hristian made it possible, and I truly hope he’ll teach me again next year. I’ll be back to keep learning, and he’s the instructor I trust. Thank you, Hristian! I highly recommend him. As a first-time skier, I had moments of panic, especially when we picked up speed. He stayed calm, patient, and in control, helping me steady myself, refocus, and feel confident again. His lessons were clear, detailed, and structured, with each correction purposeful and every exercise building on the one before. He kept me safe while still challenging me, pushing me beyond what I thought I could do without making me feel pressured. He’s also fun and engaging, so the lessons never felt boring. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.

Victoria at reception made a real difference to my stay. She was warm, attentive, and helped with every question, while handling check-in and check-out smoothly and professionally. You can tell she cares about her work and the guests. The hotel itself was cosy, with comfortable rooms and everything well organized for a pleasant, relaxing visit. Victoria at reception greeted us with a big smile and helped with every question and request. She made arriving feel easy and pleasant. The service throughout our stay was kind, professional, and welcoming. We had a wonderful visit, highly recommend the hotel, and would gladly return.

We spent quite a bit of time at the casino. It’s the biggest in bansko, though much smaller than the international casinos you may be used to. The slots are fun, and waitresses bring drinks, but they can be selective about who gets served. There’s a separate smoking casino, which is nice, but its doors stay open and smoke drifts into the non-smoking side. The hotel also has a kosher restaurant and a therme, though we didn’t visit either.

The casino adds some extra atmosphere in the evenings, and the spa is relaxing. We found the rooms spacious and clean, the staff friendly, and the setting warm. The location is good and the stay offers solid value. A very good experience overall at Platinum Hotel & Casino Bansko.
