Boutique Rose Gardens Beach & SPA Hotel

We’ve spent our vacation here twice now, and don’t regret returning. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the location is excellent, about 100 m from the seaside. A few times I had to ask for service, maybe 2 to 3 times, but after that everything was fine. Recommend it.

We left as soon as we learned Boutique Rose Garden had no water, and agreed with the hotel that we wouldn’t pay a cancellation fee. No one had contacted us about the problem before we arrived to check in for our six-night stay, which was astonishing. Driving into Pomorie, we’d already seen unfinished, derelict buildings, and the town felt poor and lifeless, with little to offer guests. We headed straight out to Nessebur, which felt much more welcoming.

For the price, this worked well for an apartment stay with an all-inclusive buffet. We had a clean, pleasant two-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, though cleaning and towel changes were only provided once per week. The food was tasty, there was enough for everyone, and the selection was decent. Drinks came in a wide range, but only local brands such as whisky, rum, and beer. The problem was that our booking specified A la carte dining at the Rose Gardens Restaurant, but we were given buffet service at a mirror restaurant instead. They said it wasn’t their fault and that the A la carte option didn’t exist. That was disappointing.

It’s pretty cozy, and the rooms are fine. But parking in Pomorie is hell, and there aren’t enough spaces for all the guests. Also, the studio I paid for as an apartment turned out to be a standard double room with a chair-bed.
