Atlas House Luxury Suites

The location was good, but I regret choosing ATLAS HOUSE Luxury Suites. We paid for two adults and two children, yet the sofa bed wasn’t made up, and there were no spare blankets or basic bedding in the wardrobe. We also received just one key and one access code, which was inconvenient for a family. There were cleanliness and maintenance issues too. The balcony was extremely dusty, and its door wouldn’t close properly unless locked. When we arrived, the receptionist nervously stubbed out a cigarette she’d been smoking. At breakfast, we had to ask for a second menu for the family and got a rather rude response before one was eventually brought. We couldn’t have dinner at the hotel’s advertised restaurant, despite the 10% guest discount. Staff usually answered questions with “I’m not sure” and then had long, confusing consultations with colleagues. They even gave us the wrong checkout time, saying before 11 AM when our reservation said before 12 PM. For what we paid, the stay fell short of expectations. The location was the only positive for me.

We slept so well in room 303, the bed was really comfortable, and we’d love to have that room again. There’s no lift and the water pressure in our room was a little low, though neither was a problem for us. The hotel is right by the fountain in the square, making it a great base for sightseeing and nightlife. Staff were friendly and helpful all the way from check-in to checkout, both at reception and while serving food and drinks. Breakfast was excellent, and the meals and drinks were high quality and reasonably priced. I reviewed those separately. We’ll definitely come back. See you next time, Atlas.

We got a friendly welcome, and breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. You have to request it. The rooms felt luxurious for such a bargain price, and the hotel looks out over a square.

The food was the best we had in Plovdiv, and the restaurant staff made us feel very welcome. Everything was super clean, and the receptionists were lovely. We had to leave early, and the young woman said that was fine and asked if we wanted breakfast to go. They packed it for us, which was really thoughtful. I’d recommend the junior suite. It’s very spacious and has a balcony, though there’s no view from it and it’s not really somewhere to sit. If you smoke, it’s perfect. Personally, I had a perfect stay, so I’m not sure what people mean by the bad things they say.
