We almost walked straight past City Garden Studio in Plovdiv. It's behind a plain door in a plain house on a quiet-looking street. The friendly, helpful owner arrived as we did and showed us around the stylish apartment, where we stayed for a night and a day. It was tastefully decorated and well equipped, and we felt at home. There was also a small patio behind the house. I liked being able to stream our own shows because the TV was connected to Wi-Fi. The bathroom could use more storage, and a shower screen would be better than the curtain.

Everything had been thought through, and I was very impressed. The place was clean and tastefully arranged, with nothing I needed missing. The air conditioning was already on, and mineral water and coffee had been left for me. The location is ideal, close enough to the center. I came in wary after unpleasant stays in private apartments before, but this one made me extremely happy. I gladly recommend it.

We were four people staying for one night. The place is convenient for the city center and has parking. The interior is nice, though it could use some maintenance. Make sure to switch on the water heater, or the shower will be cold.
