Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of food that looked good and tasted great. It was quite expensive, but worth it. The less pleasant part was how many people around the place kept coughing, including staff, who were sneezing over the food. We were travelling with a family of two adults and a child. In their room, aphrodisiacs were displayed on the minibar, which felt completely inappropriate when the hotel knew a child would be staying there. They did leave a cute white balloon with a white ribbon, along with treats on the table and a kind note. The pool itself was all right and the water was warm, but we didn’t stay long. At the desk my friends and I had to buy pool caps to help keep it clean, which I can understand to a point. Then we saw the changing area: just lockers, no separation by gender, and barely any space between them. I kept bumping into people while changing, and the wet floor was so slippery you could hardly move. It was disgusting. The salt sauna was just as off-putting, with missing floor and seat tiles and a pile of salt in the corner. We were too worried about what we’d find to try the regular sauna. Getting to the wellness area in a robe was awkward, too. There’s no direct route from the rooms, so we had to walk around in robes while everyone else was dressed. I’d planned to book a spa appointment, but after seeing the state of the pool and saunas, I couldn’t bring myself to do it.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and it’s only a 10-minute walk to the city centre and Kapana area. We had a great view from a big, comfortable room. The pool and spa were very good, and breakfast had plenty of choice and tasted delicious.

For a reasonable room price, you get better amenities and service here than at some other four-star hotels, even though this one is rated four stars too. We had a problem with the door lock after checking in, but it was fixed right away. A good experience, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We were really happy with the service, especially at the pool, and used it for a long time. We expected prices to go up, but not to more than double. We can’t keep using it at that price.

The guest relations desk left a very poor impression. The woman there was surprisingly rude and unhelpful, repeatedly dismissing my concern without trying to understand it. She only agreed to help after I said I would leave a review on Booking.com. Edit: the agreement was confirmed after I said I’d leave a bad review on bookingcom. That’s very clear.
