Guest House Fun and Rest

The location is right in central Plovdiv, close to the town hall, but the building is old and dilapidated. You climb a wooden staircase to reach the upper floor, and the entrance is dirty, neglected and under renovation. There’s a shared hallway with a refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle, but the rooms feel like a badly kept, very cheap hostel. They weren’t clean, the sockets had been ripped out, and the bed linens didn’t fit the beds. The hosts were the worst part. The man shouted at his wife in front of guests and watched while she carried guests’ suitcases up the stairs. He also openly mocked guests, including about their country of origin. He seemed uninterested in the business or its reputation. His wife tried to make his behavior seem less bad, but lied too often and too blatantly. Unprofessional and low quality.
