Holiday Inn Plovdiv by IHG

The hotel has a modern, stylish interior, with a nature-inspired design in the shared spaces. Look up at the ceiling in the dining and bar area. We had both breakfast and supper here, and the food was delicious, with plenty of choice and excellent quality. The staff were amazing, kind, easy to approach, and extremely helpful. Their warmth made my days. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn. I don’t think you’ll regret staying here.

The hotel itself is pleasant, but getting around from here was a real problem. There’s a huge construction site out front that makes crossing the street difficult. Public transport is limited, with buses only every 40 minutes or so, and getting a taxi is incredibly hard because it seems drivers don’t want to pick up guests here. For a visit to Plovdiv, I think a hotel around the city Centre is a better choice.

The breakfast was good, with a variety of food. The room was quite narrow and not very big for two people. Most front desk staff were good, except the night shift GSAa, who seemed not to understand clients’ situations when they checked in late.

The rooms were spacious, modern, comfortable, and extremely clean, and I really enjoyed my stay. The woman with short black hair was so kind at check-in. I wish I’d asked her name. After I left my wallet in a cab, she went out of her way to help and called every taxi phone number she knew. Wonderful staff, and more importantly, a wonderful person. Thanks so much!
