Plovdiv City Center Hotel

Paid parking is just a two-minute walk away, and there are nice restaurants and pubs nearby. Most of the historical landmarks are walkable too. The welcome and check-in were friendly, and the rooms were clean, wide and warm, with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. A top city hotel with a perfect location.

The staff were very helpful, and the price is very affordable. The rooms are large and immaculate, with excellent bathrooms, and the location is absurdly good, right in the center of the Main Street with Plovdiv attractions almost equally spaced around it. It's not a luxury hotel, and you can tell it's a converted building: there's no lift or grand entrance. But within its category, it's a great find, and I can't imagine a better base for exploring Plovdiv.

The hotel was welcoming and the rooms were comfortable. A couple of small room issues came up, but helpful staff sorted them quickly. The pedestrian zone location makes it easy to get to everything in central Plovdiv. Parking nearby costs 25bgn, around €12.50, and is definitely worth it. We'd stay here again.

The staff made the two nights easy, answering questions, sharing useful recommendations and helping us plan what to see. Communication was easy from check-in to check-out. The room faced the Main Street, was spotless, and was just the right size for two. This small hotel is wonderfully placed in the heart of Plovdiv, on the main pedestrian street and minutes from the Old Town, city center, ancient Roman stadium, restaurants and shops. One tip: don't follow GPS right to the hotel, as it sends you down a tricky one-way street. Contact the hotel ahead of time for detailed directions on how to park across the street. Parking is about 13 euros a day, and we found a secure spot in the city center well worth the cost. We had a five-star stay and will be back next time we visit Plovdiv.
