I was horrified that management gave my phone number to another hostel guest without asking me. How is that acceptable? The showers were also awful: one stall had a sign saying it didn’t lock, and I got trapped in the other for 5-10 minutes. Someone fetched management, who handed me a wrench so I could get myself out. And good luck finding toilet paper. The place is on the upper floors above a bar, with loud noise late into the evening. The photos make it look like a nice place to sleep, but that wasn’t the reality. This was one of the grossest hostels I’ve stayed in, with colorful mold all over the shower stalls. As a solo female traveler, I found the handling of my phone number especially disturbing. Don’t stay here, and don’t let the photos fool you like they fooled me.

I ended up leaving at 1 a.m. and sleeping in my car because I felt so uncomfortable with my roommate. At night, they’d switch on the lights, yell, and crank the air conditioning all the way up while I was trying to sleep. Sometimes a car really is more comfortable than sharing a bed with certain people.

The hostel is cheap, comfortable, safe, and right in the city center. Dimitar was one of the best hosts I’ve met, with a calm, positive vibe and a readiness to help with anything you need. You should go!

You can walk to the main tourist sights from this great location. My room was quiet, comfortable, and clean, with soft bedding, towels for the bath and face, soap, and air conditioning. It gets really hot in spring and summer, so you need to ask the receptionist to adjust the air conditioning.

I enjoyed my two nights here. The hostel is right by the main attractions, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, quiet, and clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s a stylish, very clean place. Recommended, and thanks!
