I wouldn’t visit this place again. We had a work commitment and hoped to make the stay enjoyable too, but ended up disappointed. I’d paid for eight days, though we left after six. There were mosquitoes everywhere, and the place wasn’t sprayed for them. The owner said that wasn’t his responsibility. They could also turn off your electricity without warning. The sanitary facilities were supposed to be separate for each paying guest, but after a day at the beach you could come back and find yours locked because it had been given to someone else. The ad said there were two fishing boats for campsite guests, but there weren’t any. There was a boat belonging to the owner’s friend, and he might tell you that you’d go out on it, but that wasn’t true. We did try the fish menu, and some things, like horse mackerel, octopus, and squid, were delicious. That was probably the only good part of the whole stay.

The beach was clean and friendly, and it wasn’t too busy over the weekend. Finding a parking space was hard.

The shared areas were very dirty and poorly looked after, something several first-time visitors seemed to notice. Our apartment was good, with a sea view, everything we needed, and a pool for everyone to use. The little beaches aren't guarded, but the water stays shallow for quite a way, which works well for small children. Families are the main crowd here, and weekdays are quieter than weekends.

A horrible experience. Parking is a problem, and service seemed to be only for Bulgarians. The Europa Hotel staff were rude, and the reception pulled a FRAUD on us: when we asked to extend our stay, they offered a room in worse condition for the same price. Beware of Kalina. The place is a complete dump.
