We didn’t feel welcome at any point. The host treated us as if we were trespassing, and kept making us uncertain about whether our booked room would be honored. He even said there was no point in staying because he could tell we didn’t like it, and that he didn’t like guests who stayed only two nights. We arrived at 10 pm after a long drive and parked in the only free spot in front of the hotel. The listing said parking was available without a reservation. The host came out asking who we were and told us we couldn’t park there. When we explained we had a booking and expected parking, he said the place was busy and we should find somewhere else. He then told us to stay elsewhere if we didn’t like it. We agreed to look for parking ourselves, and he finally let us have the room, but only after requiring full payment up front, which we paid. If you want to avoid that kind of treatment and uncertainty about your reservation, choose somewhere else.

Terrible service. After a four-hour drive, we got there at 10 pm with our reservation already confirmed, and the owner immediately told us we couldn’t park there. I said the booking and listing both promised free on-site parking with no reservation needed. He said it didn’t matter, we had to park somewhere else. I agreed to look elsewhere and asked to check in, but he told us to go because he could see we didn’t like the place. We asked how we were meant to find somewhere at that hour after driving for hours, and my wife also pleaded with him to let us stay. Eventually he said he’d make a compromise, though he still said he didn’t like people like us because we were only staying two nights. My wife and I kept asking him to let us in.

The yard has a gazebo with a little kitchen area, plus loungers where you can relax away from the heat and crowds at the beach. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully arranged, and the whole place is quiet and well looked after. There’s what you need nearby, including a supermarket, bars and restaurants, so it’s easy to have a pleasant holiday here.
