The view from the fourth floor is lovely, and it’s what makes the place worth staying in. I do wish the rooms had some pictures on the bare walls. The pillows were awful, and hot water was only available in the first half of the day. It was just the start of summer, so I suppose that was okay. Nice place and good location.

The South Beach is just a 4-5 minute walk away, and the center is nearby too. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops around. We had a wonderful stay, and I have no complaints at all. Prices are more than acceptable, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re after a cozy atmosphere and a spot close to the beach. The owners were incredibly kind and polite, with a great sense of humor that made it easy to feel comfortable around them. Our room was cleaned daily. It had air conditioning and a TV, and the bathroom was great, with good water pressure and hot water whenever we needed it. The free internet was satisfactory.

We paid 591 leva for one night at this awful place. They wanted the money as soon as we arrived, and later that same day we found somewhere much better for half the price. Be careful if you visit Kovachevi house, and don’t rush to hand over your money. The room was no more than 10 square meters, the air conditioner blew straight at one of the beds, and the fridge was tiny, even for one person. The supposed sea view looked onto a Chinese restaurant, where we could see people eating instead of the sea. The whole room smelled strongly of fish from the restaurant, and the hallway closet was broken.
