The food was good for the price, and I enjoyed my stay overall. It was a quiet place. I wasn’t happy that the room, especially the bathroom, wasn’t cleaned daily. At a seaside resort people bring sand in from the beach, so daily cleaning is needed.
The food was bad, and hygiene was poor. Staff handled food without gloves, and our room wasn’t cleaned once during six nights. The service was terrible, especially from the waitress. The rooms were cramped, with old, uncomfortable furniture and no curtains, and street noise was awful.
A real letdown. The beds were in poor shape and creaked whenever we turned, there were no curtains, and the shower leaked. We even found swallow nest leftovers in the bathroom. The room condition and staff both disappointed.
A quiet, homely place with friendly service and good, inventive local food.
