Malka Perla sits in a little patch of forest near Perla beach and the main road. It’s close enough for a short walk to the beach, but far enough from town that you don’t hear the car noise. The rooms are basic but have the essentials, though there’s no air conditioning. The hosts are friendly and have a good sense of humour. There’s a small selection of meals, including a daily lunch menu. If you want somewhere calm and well located, it’s worth a look.

So much forest...

The food was awful, and we even found hair and bugs in it. Hygiene was terrible, too. Staff were very rude and didn't do their jobs, and they refused to replace the sheets or towels. The rooms were filthy and vile, like a concentration camp. The whole place is terribly dirty and neglected, and the government hasn't renovated it. This place should be closed.
