We first stayed at Hotel Orios in 2021 without a child, and came back with our baby this time. Both visits were lovely, and the beach is incredibly close. The hotel, rooms, and food all feel right for a three-star family place. Our room was spacious and comfortably furnished, with good air conditioning, which we especially appreciated during last week’s heat with a baby in tow. The staff are so kind and helpful. Just ask at reception and they’ll sort things out right away. I needed a needle and thread to mend something for our son, and they were understanding and happy to help. The restaurant is clean and set up well for little kids, with a high chair. Meals had plenty of variety: hot breakfast, salads and several hot meat and vegetarian dishes at lunch and dinner, plus dessert or fruit. Our son especially liked having the fruit. The bar drinks were good too, and the bartenders very friendly. The hotel, restaurant, and pool areas have a cozy feel. Thanks so much, we’ll be back!

The pool is nice and the rooms are a decent size, but the food gets dull fast. There isn’t much choice, and after three days it was very boring. The blonde-haired hotel manager could use some management training. The lift only works now and then, which is a real nightmare if you have a baby or a pram.

The hotel is in a great spot, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, and guests can use the beach for free. Everyone on staff was friendly and polite, and our room was clean and comfortable. The meals weren’t tasty, with very little variety, and the drinks were awful, even the ones you had to pay for. I wouldn’t recommend all-inclusive, it isn’t worth it. We chose to pay 12lv per person for dinner at the hotel and weren’t sure that was a good decision either.
