Plovdiv Hotel

For a decent price, it was an okay stay. The staff were nice and the hallways very clean, while the rooms were decent too. The bathroom was quite small, though, and breakfast wasn’t very good.

The hotel itself is good, management is nice, and the rooms are relatively large with air conditioning. The price is good as well. I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant: the food took an extremely long time, wasn’t up to the standard of other Bulgarian restaurants, and the quality wasn’t good. We also waited a very long time for the check.

The rooms and corridors were spotless and cleaned regularly, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was good and properly prepared, though it could use better, more expensive ingredients. Most rooms have a sea view.

I only tried the restaurant. I ordered a pizza that was supposed to have hot peppers, but it had just one small pepper cut into three pieces, nothing like the menu photo. I was also waiting for an order of chicken strips in cornflakes, listed as a starter. I spent about two hours there and thought they’d forgotten it, but the waiter brought it at the very end. Nobody explained the delay, and when I asked to take it away, they just tossed two boxes onto the table. They get the rating they give customers. I doubt it’ll change.
