Hotel Central Razgrad

The owner was incredibly kind: at 3.30 in the morning, she drove me from the hotel to the bus station. I have a lot of respect for good people like her. My stay was wonderful too, with spacious, very clean rooms and really great food and service. I’ll book here again. ✊ 🇧🇬 🇷🇸

Breakfast was good, and the hotel’s location made getting around easy. My partner and I stayed for two nights. The staff were friendly and accommodating, communication was good, and check-in went smoothly. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended.

The downtown Razgrad location is convenient, but the hotel itself is in bad shape. My partner’s bed literally collapsed under him. When we told reception, the receptionist nearly persuaded us that it was safe to sleep on. After we objected, we were moved to a dorm-style room with four single beds. The room had poor amenities, uncomfortable beds, and glasses on the table covered in fingerprints. That night, a soccer club player had invited friends, and the hotel was full of teenagers and young people partying. It was incredibly noisy all night, so we had to use earplugs to get any sleep. Breakfast was included, but seemed to catch the staff by surprise. They almost convinced us there was nothing to eat except sausage or cheese sandwiches with a few tomato slices. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re as desperate as we were. Reception may ask you to pay in advance. Avoid doing that if you can, since you have the right to leave this dump once you find somewhere better to stay.

I sent some laundry down, then at checkout the receptionist told me to go fetch it myself. I tried, but couldn’t find it anywhere, and only then did they say they’d get it. The staff were unfriendly throughout, with no proper greeting or even a smile. They need to understand that guests pay for a service, and they aren’t doing anyone a favour.
