I haven’t stayed at the hotel, but I did visit the pool and restaurant. The food and drinks were great. The pool looked clean and pleasant, with a small section for little kids beside the main pool. It felt a bit pricey at 17 leva per person, and there’s no discount for children. Maybe that makes sense if you spend the whole day there, but we only stayed a couple of hours.

The room lockers are clever, but hard to unlock. When I asked Milena and Rumena at reception for help, they were rude. I’m a guest and don’t deserve that attitude. I won’t stay here again, and I can’t recommend it.

The pool opens at 7 am, so be prepared to get only 2 hours of sleep a night. The receptionist and other staff were having a long party in the restaurant, even though there were no guests there, and there was no chance of sleeping. I didn’t dare try the food. The room was filthy, with all kinds of hair on the bed and floor. There were roaches in the bathroom, a horrible drain stench, and the toilet was terribly dirty. Whoever rated this a four star hotel must never have spent a night here. I don’t recommend it!

It’s a nice hotel for families, very quiet and close to the park, where I run and swim each morning. The pool is a good size and well maintained.
