Our two rooms, booked through Booking for two nights, weren’t ready at the 2:00 PM check-in time. We had to complain quite a bit before we got the key to one room early, and the other wasn’t available until late afternoon. The rooms didn’t have consistent amenities: one had pool bathrobes, the other didn’t, and we were told there were none left. One room had only an electric heater, which never worked, so it was uncomfortably cold. There was no housekeeping at all on the second day, and the towels weren’t changed. Breakfast was extremely poor, nowhere near what I’d expect from a 4-star hotel. The stay fell short of both the advertised standards and the hotel’s 4-star rating.

The place felt poorly maintained and badly managed, and it wasn’t worth the money. Our rooms were freezing, the window frames were broken, the boiler was broken so there wasn’t proper hot water, and the bathroom leaked everywhere. The pool had so much chlorine that it burned our eyes. Food was bad and there wasn’t enough of it. The restaurant was cold and closed at 9 PM, except on New Year’s Eve, when it stayed open only until 1 AM. The music was terrible the whole time. There were plenty of smaller annoyances too, including bad coffee, a poorly maintained playroom, and locked doors in the evening that made guests climb stairs and go back down again. A very disappointing New Year’s Eve stay. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The rooms were very clean, and the food was good with a nice variety. The staff were friendly and professional. I highly recommend the hotel for a peaceful stay, and especially want to thank Maxim the receptionist.

We were there with several families and left with a good impression. The hotel has huge potential. The rooms and pool were warm, the staff helpful, and the manager kept an eye on everything, down to the smallest detail. That was impressive.
