Parking and a kitchen are available, and it's a nice place if you're looking for a budget stay. I hesitated because of some negative comments about the owner, but I found him natural and a nice character. Maybe those reviewers were just boring and not very open-minded.

It's really cheap, and you can order a delicious breakfast. The hosts are friendly, genuinely nice, and always there if you need them. Our room was clean, tidy, and warm, with what we needed: a comfortable bed, bathroom, and TV. The hotel is near Borovetz.

Right in the centre of Samokov, this guest house is clean and very well priced. Alex, the owner, is usually around if you need advice, and speaks some English too. Breakfast costs 6lv and comes with eggs or pancakes, plus tea or coffee.

The rooms are basic but such good value. I chose this guest house almost at random when I arrived in Samokov, and was very glad I did. Aleks was a wonderful host, took a real interest in my plans, and gave me just the information I needed to make the most of my stay.
