Such a lovely spot.

The reception staff were friendly, and the location worked well for getting to the Gondola for Musala Peak or heading into Samokov for restaurants. That was about all I liked. The room was cold because there was no insulation, and one of the rules seemed to say not to turn the heating on more than 2-3?? The reservation never said the hotel was separate from the private rooms, or that everything like the jacuzzi, spa and steam baths cost extra. There was barely any hot water. I could run it for five minutes to fill the bathtub before the indicator dropped to the bottom. The trash can was broken, and there were holes in the tiles. The bed mattress had sagged, so we woke up stiff two days in a row. There was mold, dust and cobwebs in the wardrobe, plus plaster fallen from the heating pipes in the corner. The living room table was torn, and there was some kind of stain on the wall. Two nights cost a bit much for the room we got. I wouldn't recommend it.

The place was clean and tidy. Breakfast was decent, though a bit more variety would have been nice.
