The place was quiet and pleasant, with plenty of tavernas nearby and the winter resort about a 10-minute drive away. We booked through Booking for a family trip, but Diltzvet hadn't been told we were bringing a child, so they offered us single beds.

You have to pay for everything in person. And if you leave something behind, forget about getting it back. Once the cleaning lady and owners take a liking to your things, they’re gone. The owner tried to come in at 10am while we were still sleeping.

We had to spend a night in Samokov unexpectedly, and Diltsvet made it a really nice stay. The hosts gave us perfect service, and everything was excellent. Just so you know, there’s no kitchen in the house, so meals have to be eaten out. There are some great restaurants nearby, though, so that wasn’t a problem.
