The owner was easy to reach and happy to answer questions, which kept everything stress-free. The flat itself was spotless, comfortable and homely, with all we needed for our family of four. We’d happily come back. It takes about 25 minutes to walk into Borovets centre, and it’s a lovely route, though awkward with ski gear. By taxi, the ski village is around 10 minutes away. If you’re skiing, especially with equipment, plan for taxis or bring your own transport. We had a great local driver all week. A text about 10 minutes before we wanted to go was enough, and he always showed up. It was €10 each way, which felt like very good value. It’s a quieter base while still being close to Borovets, and I’d recommend it for families.

We stayed eight nights at Kolimechkov Apartments with our two children. The place was cosy and worked well for the four of us, with good facilities and a particularly useful kitchen and dining area. Borovets is about a half-hour walk away, so you really need a car or taxis. We’d stay here again.

The balcony had a wonderful view, and we could get to the parties fairly quickly, even walking. Inside, there was a double bedroom, two single beds in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. The property contacted me straight after I booked with photos and clear directions. Check-in was simple, and they also offered us a free parking space. We had a very pleasant stay, though it wasn’t cheap. I’d recommend it.
