The food was amazing, and I liked the atmosphere. The hotel was still being built, though, so I think it could be a great place in a year or two. I was disappointed that the bar and coffee service weren't always operating, and there wasn't breakfast every morning. That meant having to go to the nearby town.

We stopped here twice on the way to Greece, and the location works well for a break. The restaurant is pleasant, the food was good from what I tried, and the staff were nice. The rooms were the weak point: the shower has no divider or glass, so the water runs by the toilet and sink, which feels strange. I'm not sure I'd stay overnight here again.

At 1 am, we still couldn't sleep because an anniversary party in the restaurant was playing music so loudly. Hotel guests clearly don't matter to them. If you need rest, don't go there.

The staff were so friendly and polite, and gave us detailed advice on nice places to see nearby and the best ways to get there. The view was great, and being away from the city center made this small hotel quiet, though it's not close enough to walk into town. They only take cash, which was a little inconvenient. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to Sandanski.

I went to Reston this time and would definitely recommend it. It's a cosy hotel, and a good choice if you want quality food in a nice atmosphere.
