We stayed in this apartment while I was filming in the region this year for my travel show, including the Seven Rila Lakes and Musala. It was fantastic: the room was clean, the owners were great, and everything was nearby, making it a perfect base for mountain hikes. There’s a shop and café downstairs, plus plenty of restaurants and hot springs close by for relaxing. We’ll definitely return to Sapareva Banya someday. The apartment is especially cozy, with two bedrooms, a dining room, and a kitchenette. The house is comfortable and functional, extremely clean, warm, and well furnished. The hosts are very kind. We’ll visit again, and I recommend it.

The owners were incredibly kind, but nobody mentioned the room smelled of mold or that the toilet had a sewer smell. It’s right above a neighborhood café full of drunken old people who make a lot of noise. The beds were complete hell, very narrow and boat-like. We spent no more than six hours in the room, just to sleep. I’d never recommend this place or stay there again!

There were four beds, but the room was very cramped, with the shower just above the toilet. We asked for a mop, but they didn’t understand, and the mop they gave us was no use. The only equipment was a kettle and microwave, with no basic things like a stove or utensils. They didn’t speak English, so we couldn’t ask for advice about trips. The pub downstairs was noisy until late.
