We had a great stay with our 8 month old baby, and the hosts were very accommodating. The rooms are lovely, with a terrace and a view, and there’s a fantastic pool surrounded by green grass. It’s close to the town centre too. A little gem about 30 minutes from the mountains. We’ll definitely be back soon.

The place started out well, clean and pleasant, but the owners then let a group of 10-15 people hold a very loud private party by the pool. We couldn’t use the pool, and it was as if we were expected to swim while people danced around us, sang Bulgarian chalga songs, and ate and drank right in front of us. Even someone with no shame would feel awkward. We asked the owners to have the group move the party indoors or at least turn the music down so everyone could sit on the terrace and have a normal evening. They said the place wasn’t for children or people wanting peace, and that we could leave if we wanted. They also said they didn’t know how to talk effectively with the noisy guests and couldn’t do anything. It’s really sad to see this kind of behaviour allowed somewhere categorized as a place for rest and recreation. If you’re planning to visit, ask whether an event like this will be happening. You may not be able to use the pool or have a calm evening. If parties like that are what you’re after, then this could be your destination. But considerate guests don’t bother everyone else so much. It takes some sense of boundaries to celebrate pleasantly without getting vulgar.

It was relaxed and not crowded on a weekday, with friendly staff and rooms that were spotless. There are hot thermal pools and a well equipped bungalow too. A real hidden gem.

The houses were clean, cozy, well equipped, and comfortable. Outside, there’s a lovely soft grass yard and a large mineral water pool, with a beautiful mountain view.
