The reception service was good, while breakfast was only so-so. Our room’s hygiene didn’t match the rest of the hotel: there was a strong smell, and the bathroom wasn’t quite clean.

I had a comfortable, pleasant stay, with everything I needed thoughtfully provided. The rooms were spotless, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The hotel went beyond what I expected.

I had a wonderful time in Shumen and plan to come back. The restaurant serves delicious food, the customer service is very good, and the location is right in the heart of town. Of the hotels I’ve visited in Bulgaria, this is the best.

The best hotel I’ve found in northeastern Bulgaria.

The staff were outstanding, and the location and amenities make this the best value in the city. I was impressed by the hotel and the service during my one-night stay. There’s a sauna, jacuzzi, and fitness area, and the restaurant is quite good too. It would help if guests got a better introduction to the place when they arrive, and if there were charging points at the outdoor tables :)
