The room was nowhere near worth the price, and breakfast was horrible. I’d give this place zero stars if I could.

The bed was large and comfortable, the heating was fine, and the minibar was full. But this is, at best, a poor three-star hotel, so calling it four-star is very misleading. The gym and spa have apparently been out of service for years; the shower drain was clogged, there was hair on the towels, and the only cleaning was emptying the trash cans. The restaurants and taverns were closed too, probably because of the Christmas holidays. At 55€ a night without breakfast, there are many better choices. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Panorama restaurant on the seventh floor was very good, with an excellent menu, though it only opens at 6pm. Breakfast was plentiful and made on the spot, with four options to choose from. The hotel was very clean for this price range, and everyone at reception and in the lobby restaurant was pleasant and helpful. A very nice experience overall!

We enjoyed a lovely stay, with good prices and nice accommodation. The room was modern, clean, and had everything we needed. Our evening meal was absolutely fabulous, one of the best we’ve had in Bulgaria in a long time. Bravo, and thanks! Breakfast, though, was 1/10, so bad. Even a simple banitsa wasn’t good, the bread was old, and the sausages were the cheapest Frankfurter style. Bulgaria makes the best homemade sausages, so we’d have used good-quality Bulgarian homemade products. Breakfast is the last impression a hotel leaves, and it should be a good one.
