Hotel Queen

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The staff don’t speak English, parties kept the whole hotel awake all night, and the AC sounded like a tractor. The lift felt as if it might crash every time I used it. At the bar I was overcharged, with items added to my bill that I hadn’t ordered, and they refused to correct it.

The receptionist was friendly, but that was the only good part. In the restaurant, the waitress cut me off before I could finish speaking, so half our order got mixed up. They also twice entered our receipt as cash instead of card. Our blankets had no covers, and the noise from the restaurant was the worst. We asked a couple of times when it would stop and were told they didn’t know, probably after 1am. They should at least have told us about the celebration before we booked the room. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I felt like I’d walked into a dorm from the 90s. The toilet didn’t work, there was no fridge, and the beds were tiny. The sockets were just holes in the wall, without plastic covers, and doors banged all night. All that for 50 euros.

A nice place to stay, with a good restaurant and delicious food.
