Hotel Vienna

The location made things easy, with the train and bus stations and the center all within walking distance. The building and facilities are old, but they work. My bedsheet had stains that couldn't be washed out, though the bedding, floor, bathroom, and basic facilities were clean. Some items, including the fridge, bath heater, and phone, weren't clean, possibly because they aren't used much. I stayed five nights, and all three front desk staff, a woman, a man, and a young man, were exceptionally friendly and attentive to details. They cheerfully handled all my requests, even my unreasonable breakfast times. On checkout morning they even offered me a lunch box. It was the warmest hotel experience I've had in my month-long trip in Bulgaria.
