My stay was a nightmare. The attitude was disgusting. They wouldn't take card payment, apparently to avoid tax, and sent me searching for an ATM all over Smolyan. It cost me half the day. In the end they wouldn't even give me change, so I told them to have a coffee on me. The owner has his mother cleaning and greeting guests while driving a 200k jeep. They can't even replace a toilet seat that's twenty years old, worn down and peeling. I wouldn't wish a stay there on my worst enemy.

The staff were friendly, and the place was quiet with a nice view. Rooms were clean and well organized, with a shower, wifi and kitchen. It's near downtown, dogs are welcome, and there's free parking. We had a good time.
