The food was really tasty, simple, and homemade in both look and flavor. There wasn’t a huge choice and nothing fancy, but it was very, very good, even if it didn’t look that way at first. The reception, bar, and restaurant staff were kind and helpful, and the location is right by the beach. Just be aware there’s no shop nearby: you have to walk to a small market at the nearby camping site or take a taxi to Sozopol. We’ve been there twice, and the pool water was a problem both years. Sometimes it looked more like soup, which was disgusting to swim in. They tried to fix it by adding chemicals, but the results were miserable. I also wonder how that affected health. My daughter developed temporary skin issues, though thankfully they cleared up quite quickly. Smoking in the restaurant was another horrible part of the stay. About 50% of the local guests smoke there, often one cigarette after another, seemingly more than they eat. It was so common that we couldn’t find a seat away from the awful, unhealthy smell. I don’t understand why smoking isn’t forbidden in the hotel’s only restaurant. The room was comfortable, though nothing luxurious, but every year and in every room we had a problem with the toilet smell. It’s that old toilet smell from day one, even after cleaning and after nobody has used it all day. Last year’s cleaning lady was very nice and helpful, but this time the service was much worse. The new cleaner expected us to leave as soon as she came around 9:15 AM, even though we were still entitled to be in the room and wanted to sleep in on vacation. She refused to come later, so for a couple of days we couldn’t get the room cleaned. I started to suspect she was doing it on purpose to reduce her workload. She also wouldn’t replace towels or bedsheets, even when they were visibly dirty or wet and had been dropped on the floor. The one time she did come in, she took the tip we’d left and barely cleaned: the bathroom was dirty, shower gel and shampoo were missing, and I’m not even sure the floor had been cleaned. And if you don’t speak Bulgarian, don’t expect to communicate with her. The animation team, two girls from Bulgaria this year, didn’t seem very interested in doing their job. Last year was much better, with two girls from Poland and one from Bulgaria. They had more energy and kept the kids busy during the day.

The hotel grounds were beautifully landscaped and kept very clean, and the pool bar, daily ice cream, and pastries were nice extras. We also found the staff welcoming and helpful, the food tasty and homemade, and our room spotless with everything working. The housekeeping and maintenance teams seem to do a great job. It worked well for our family: there’s a small playground, face painting by the pool, and a gentle, shallow entry into the sea that suits little kids. We arrived concerned after reading bad reviews, but ended up pleasantly surprised and happy with our stay. The rooms are clean and functional, though they could use a refresh and some modernization. The route and area by the beach were disappointing, with lots of garbage, dirt, and dog mess. That seemed like a local government maintenance issue, rather than the hotel’s responsibility, and it stands out beside the tidy hotel grounds. The location is isolated, with no proper shops nearby, just a small one at the neighboring camping area. A taxi to Sozopol costs around 8 EUR each way. For us, this felt like a very good 3-star hotel rather than a 4-star one, so keep expectations in check. It’s a solid budget-friendly choice for a simple, relaxing family holiday, and we’d recommend it with those points in mind.

We were misled by the photos and fake reviews. The pictures on Booking and other websites seem to be from 10 years ago and don’t show the current state of the property. It’s very worn and in bad condition. The location is genuinely good, close to the beach and beach bars like Dirty gradina. They say parking is available, but there isn’t really parking for guests. A few spaces inside the property are reserved for someone, marked off with cones and 10 litre water bottles. On arrival, the host said your car could be vandalized if you park there.

The all inclusive offering was very poor, with hardly any food choices, and it wasn’t worth what we paid for two adults and two kids. Still, the place is family-friendly, the pool was clean, and the location is great, just a couple of minutes from the beach.

We had a really lovely stay. The hotel has a great atmosphere, and the food and wine were exceptional. Our room was spacious, clean, and had air conditioning, and the bathroom was clean too. Service was excellent. It’s no more than a two minute walk to the beach, and the pool has a shallow area for smaller kids.
