Villi Sozopol

The room was amazing, comfortable and had everything you could need. Everyone was friendly and professional, and we got a very worm welcome. The staff worked hard to look after us and dealt with any requests really quickly. We had a great experience at this hotel.

The breakfast was tasty, with 6 options to choose from, but the choices stayed the same each day. Most of the waiters didn’t speak English and there wasn’t a dress code. We often saw one short waiter in a black t-shirt who didn’t understand anything in English and was rude and arrogant towards us. Over our 2 days of breakfast, we also met an older waiter who was the only one dressed elegantly and was professional and really kind to residents. Villi Sozopol has a great location in Old city Sozopol and a beautiful sea view. There’s a nice pool in the center of the property, and the room service was great. The cleaning staff were kind and worked smoothly. But our bathroom was damaged, so water kept leaking onto the floor. The balcony had a table, chairs and one sunbathing chair broken in half.

The beds could be more comfortable, though for what we paid it was acceptable. I quite liked my stay: the location was good, the views were great and there were decent restaurants close by. The staff were friendly, the place was clean and the pool was rather nice.

The hotel is tucked away in the back streets of old town Sozopol, close to everything and on a small cliff edge lined with excellent restaurants. The staff were friendly and spoke English. We loved our stay. It’s fairly cheap and amazing value for money. Our room was large and clean, though a little dated, but it suited the price. The pool was lovely, with great views.
