Bisser Aparthotel

Good place.

For an unpretentious stay, you'll find clean bedding and helpful staff. Rooms are large and can accommodate up to four people, and there's also a two-room suite at a reasonable price. Mine cost 25 leva (approximately 360 UAH) a night. The location is central. My room had a mini kitchen with an electric stove, kettle, refrigerator and microwave, as well as air conditioning and a balcony. The carpet wasn't high-pile, but it did make the room feel cozy.

The room was huge, clean and had a balcony, plus a well-equipped kitchenette. I didn't care for the carpeted floor, though. Tile would've been better.

When we reached the address given for Bisser studio, a woman there said tourists often came asking her for something that made no sense. It turned out Bisser studio does not exist. This felt like a scam. Calling the reservation number sent us to the Tia Maria hotel, where we were told we'd misunderstood and Google had indexed it incorrectly. The first room they offered had nothing to do with the reservation photos. I refused it and asked for an explanation. They showed us a bigger room, but that also looked like it was from a different movie. I said we'd leave despite the non-refundable booking. After they made a phone call, they took us to a room that did look like the pictures. Later, when I studied a balcony photo, I realized those pictures were actually taken in the building opposite, which is also Tia Maria but luxury. They insisted this was the best room. I said I didn't care if it was the only one, it had to match the reservation listing. We stayed in the end, but they asked for cash. When we requested a receipt, they said we'd get one on departure. On Sunday, our last day, they said invoices aren't issued on Sundays. After we insisted, an irritated man on the phone, who said he was the manager, spoke to us in a mafia style. He said that if we really wanted it, we'd get the invoice by email on Monday; he was free on Sunday, at sea, and if we really wanted to come to him to get it, they wouldn't charge him 50 euros. We still haven't received the invoice. Although we'd checked in around 4:30 p.m., at 10:30 p.m. we got an email canceling the reservation. We asked the hotel what was going on, since we had no receipt and Booking said it would debit the card because the reservation was non-refundable. They told us that's how the booking.com software works. When we reported it to booking.com, they said they didn't know what was happening, but took the report. Be careful with Bisser and Tia Maria. The reviews are strange too, and whenever we passed reception, there were tourists complaining about something.
